Watercolor - Supply List

WATERCOLOR SUPPLY LIST questions???...nancygraham2@gmail.com

EXPERIENCED PAINTERS: Please feel free to bring the supplies you already have before you buy anything new. Good watercolor brushes can be very expensive and chances are you have what you need. If you have a method for stretching paper that you are comfortable with… by all means, stick with it.

Also, if you have a painting ready to start…or an idea for one, bring it to the first class.

BEGINNING PAINTERS:
One good watercolor brush - #12 or #14 red sable round ($$$), or a good soft synthetic fiber brush. A good #12 round brush flares out to cover a broad area and also comes to a point for edges and detail. Other brushes can be added as you expand your ability.

Tube type watercolor paints – (preferably not student grade) Winsor & Newton or other quality artists paints.
