Precious Metal Clay (PMC): Advanced Ring Making

Audience: Some experience required / Teen to Adult

If you have a little experience with Precious Metal Clay and are ready to try something a little harder, this class will provide you with the skills to make several types of rings.  We’ll make band rings, noodle rings, pad rings with embedded shanks, stone stetting with bezel wire.   If you don’t already know how, we’ll teach you to dry connect your components, clean your project for a very professional finish and we’ll show you different types of finishes you can use on your project.  We’ll provide 25 grams of silver clay and tools to use in class.  With the materials provided you should be able to make at least three rings, however, more clay will be available for purchase if you have other projects you would like to make.
