Her paintings are a mystical expression of her experiences and travels around the world. Painted on both paper and raw duck canvas, the oversized pieces reflect a sophisticated abandon by throwing white paint across the space in a calligraphic rhythm, resulting in powerful movement.
Stevie has won many regional and national awards, including "Best of Show" in the Rocky Mountain National Exhibition, the Western Federation of Watercolor Exhibition, the Southern Watercolor Exhibition, the Southwestern Watercolor Society Exhibition, the Texas Watercolor Society Exhibition and the San Antonio Art League, Onderdonk Award.
