Program Details

Audience: All levels - ages 5-12

A new learning experience for children!  Our fall Explore Art will introduce your children to fun and learning during our 3 hour Saturday program.  Children will receive instruction in oil painting, pastels, printmaking, ceramics and fabric art.  Whether your child has a yen to paint, to throw pots, to print collotypes, to tie-dye a shirt in their favorite colors, or find out how to use the sun to create prints, we have exactly the program they need.  No supplies necessary - just a desire to learn, and have fun.

Children will be split into two age appropriate groups: 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds.  The two groups will alternate between two different mediums each Saturday, which a short break for snacks. 

The schedule will be as follows:

  • First Saturday: Fiber Arts & Ceramics
  • Second Saturday: Printmaking & Painting
  • Third Saturday: Fiber Arts & Ceramics
  • Fourth Saturday: Printmaking & Painting
