Our wonderful summer semester came to an end in September. We had our best summer so far at Majestic Ranch (although we are already looking to summer 2009 for even better results). Most importantly, and rewardingly, we had our first ever children's program, which took the shape of 6 Fridays for Kids. This innovative program was a fun way for kids from ages 5 to 15 to learn more about art, and to try some new things - such as making prints on our Takach printing press. The children also experimented with watercolor pencils, and used air-dry clay to make some fabulous pieces. All in all, it was a tremendous success. Check in with us over the new few months and we will unleash our summer kids camp as soon as we can. Register early as these classes fill up fast!

September 7th saw our Open House, which was another huge success. Faculty members and our participants donated prints, paintings, drawings, and sculptures, for the event. Approximately 250 people attended the open house, and others arrived for the final concert of our summer concert series with Van Zirkle.
Our fall semester is now fully underway, and as we head into the holiday season, we expect to be adding more classes to our spring schedule, so check it out now, and be part of the Majestic Ranch open house next year!
