Rachman’s Note: When possible, I prefer to order from family and sculptor owned businesses, support companies that keep a blacksmith on staff (Trow & Holden) etc. This sometimes means that I will place several orders and pay more for shipping. For example, if I am ordering some tools from The Complete Sculptor or Montoya Sculpture Supply, and several of those tools are made by Trow & Holden, I will place an order for the T&H portion of the tools from T&H. This will cost me an additional shipping charge (the tool cost is the same), however, it allows T&H to make a little more money thus staying in business... It is my small way to support the people out there supporting us sculptors and providing a service that is rapidly disappearing.
