Mitigation Credits

The Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation now has available for sale through the Majestic Ranch Conservation Bank up to 503 mitigation credits for the mitigation of impacts to the habitat of the golden cheeked warbler in the bank's Primary and Secondary Service Areas. 

Mitigation credits offer developers, utility providers, and state and local governments an opportunity to pay a one-time fee to purchase credits, therefore transferring their project's mitigation obligations.

The Primary Service Area of the bank consists of the following:  Bandera, Blanco, Bexar, Gillespie and Kerr Counties, Texas. 

The Secondary Service Area of the bank consists of the following:  Burnet, Edwards, Kimble, Llano, Mason, Medina, Real and Medina Counties, Texas. 

(Prior approval by USFWS is required on a case-by-case basis for mitigation in the Secondary Service Area.)

The credits are presently priced at $6,000 per credit for a sale involving at least 500 credits.
